Sorry for my depressing post last week! I really do appreciate all of the sweet and encouraging comments that y'all left. My period started Sunday so that explains alot about my down-in-the-dumps post...
I am doing much better today and am thrilled to be a mother of 3 and wife of 1! I am reading Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and I have learned soooo much. Chapter 5 has been especially meaningful and I will share a few of my favorite passages.

"If Satan can get us to try to "live the Christian life" without cultivating an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus, he knows we will be spiritually impotent and defeated. If he can get us to do a great many things "for God" without consciously seeking the will of God through His Word and prayer, we may stir up a lot of religious dust, but won't do Satan's kingdom any real damage." pg. 122
"There is no greater measure of her worth or success as a woman than the extent to which she serves as the heart of her home." pg. 127
"It is true that many "perfect jobs" may come and go during the childrearing years, but only one will absolutely never come along again - the job of rearing your own children and allowing them the increasingly rare opportunity to grow up at home." pg. 129
My prayer is this:
May God come into our home and make it a place where He is known and loved and revealed!

great post. I will put this book on my list to read. I think it is so important to focus every morning on the Lord so that we can raise a God loving family. I still have a hard time writing homemaker on the occupation line, but I should be so proud of that and my knowledge that God would want me no other place.
Bring Dutch Blitz next Thursday night...I love that game...warning: do not play with Angie...you can't even take a second to blink and she's done...seriously, it's amazing!
