After many tears and my thwarted efforts to get the second of Brantley's front teeth out, it came out today at school with help from the school nurse. How she convinced Brantley to let her get a hand in there I will never know - she must have the magic touch. Brantley is very pleased with herself and wanted me to post a picture. She also just asked me if I keep her teeth? "Me? Keep teeth? I thought that the tooth fairy used them to make her castle.", I said. After much debate I said that I believed she was real and Brantley said that if I did then she did too. I have to drag out this childhood innocence as long as I can. I think that it is just so cute!!

That picture is just too cute! I still have all my baby teeth in a little box somewhere...never thought that was weird until it came up in a conversation and everyone else thought is was absolutely disgusting...it's not like I wear them on a necklace around my neck! Do you keep your kids teeth?? You never really answered that question :-)

Of course I keep them! They are all mixed up though. I guess if they want to keep them in a little box like you than they will have to sort them out between the 3 of them. ;)
ok jena and leah, my official stance is that keeping teeth is a little weird. :) maybe i will change my mind when jackson starts losing teeth!
i've never heard that the toothfairy takes teeth to build a castle! that's hilarious!
I also keep teeth. They are in a little holder the dentist gave us which is shaped like a tooth. But I haven't seen it in a long time... not sure where it is...you know you try to hide stuff from your kids and forget yourself where you put it.
