Wolfe is 9!

Wolfe wanted a chocolate fudge cake for his birthday. I had made one for life group and he LOVED it, so I made another one a week later just for him. He didn't even have to share the leftovers (much to Brantley's dismay!). We gave him a docking station for his MP3 player, but his favorite gift was the DS game that my mom gave him. The picture of him sitting on the sofa is my favorite of him in a long time. It just captures who is right now. He is such a sweet, smart, curious boy. We love him dearly and I wish that I could prevent him from growing. I want to freeze time and keep them small forever. His legs are just getting entirely too long, how dare he!!

Puddle Jumping

"I'm ready to go, Mommy! Show me the puddles!"
"These new rainboots are awesome!"
"Jumping with me big sis is even more fun! I really like it when we match, too!"

Brooke on her actual birthday

She loved the new dress I got her!
Unwrapping gifts at breakfast. Wolfe is holding her new Ariel bathing suit from Mimi and Granddaddy. She also got a princess beach towel. The book and rain boots are from Nena. Nena also gave her an MP3 player that she listens to all the time.
Brooke is saying, "Yea!! The Barbie Mariposa doll that I have been asking for everytime I see the commercial!"
"Let's see....which shoes do I like better? Rain boots or new Dora tennis shoes?"
Sweet sisters!

Brooke is 3!!

Brooke in her birthday outfit that I made. She loved having Dora on the shirt! We had a tea party for her and she had such a great time! Her friends all loved drinking out of little teacups and eating tiny food.
She wanted a strawberry cake. She wanted pink cake, pink icing, and strawberries. She was very specific!
For the craft, the girls colored easter bunny purses and then used them to collect easter eggs that had been hidden all over the house.
Opening gifts is always fun and she loved all the great things that she was given. Thanks everyone for coming on such short notice!

Shoveling Snow

It seems like we won't have anymore snow this winter. We had been wishing for "the big one" but it never came. Now I hope it doesn't because this spring weather is fantastic!
I just love the tiny snow shovel Brooke is using!
